Transmutex is a Swiss company founded in 2019. Transmutex is currently advancing the HI-BEAM (High Intensity Breakthrough Engineering for Advanced Medicine) project, an ambitious programme to develop an industrial-scale facility for the reliable production of medical-grade Actinium-225 (Ac-225), a critical radionuclide for emerging targeted alpha therapies.

Our team spans nuclear physics, engineering, software, radiochemistry, pharmaceutical and industrial development. Working with research labs and industrial partners worldwide, we are building the production capacity needed for the next generation of cancer treatments.

About the Role

~1 min read

As the HI-BEAM project progresses from conceptual design into experimental validation, Transmutex is expanding its radiochemistry capability to translate established laboratory methods—supported by collaboration with leading international research institutes—into automated, reproducible, and commercially viable production processes.

We are seeking a Senior radiochemist to actively contribute to the technical design of Transmutex’ s radiochemistry process, in strong collaboration with renowned research labs. You will report to the Head of Extraction unit and be part of a small international team

You will primarily be based in Vernier, GE, with regular travel to Villigen, AG and to partner research labs in North America.
