We are compiling a pool of English-speaking health care professionals for possible participation in a future research study related to primary mitochondrial disease and progressive neurological or muscular conditions. If you meet the criteria below, you may be invited to complete a short screening questionnaire to assess eligibility. This is a remote opportunity.

  • Currently managing patients with:

    • Primary mitochondrial disease (priority), or

    • Progressive neurological or muscular conditions in adults (e.g., Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, myasthenia gravis, chronic fatigue syndrome, stroke, epilepsy, traumatic brain injury, or other rare diseases)

  • Use the 30-second Sit to Stand test (STS) in clinical practice and/or research to assess patients

  • Have administered the 30-second STS at least 20 times

  • Fluent in English
