In this position, you will drive performance-focused digital marketing initiatives to acquire and retain Travelzoo Members in Germany. The position focuses on hands-on campaign management across acquisition channels, data-driven optimisation, and measurable subscriber growth. - Enthusiastic to understand target groups, acquisition funnels, and all touchpoints along the customer journey
- Motivated to take ownership of performance marketing activities across Paid Social, Affiliate, Programmatic, Display, Email, and additional digital acquisition channels
- Keen to plan, implement, and optimise digital marketing campaigns across platforms such as Meta, Reddit, affiliate networks, and programmatic channels
- Capable of conducting audience and creative testing, including A/B testing and creative optimisation, to identify scalable and cost-efficient acquisition strategies
- Driven to analyse channel effectiveness and campaign performance based on KPIs including ROAS, conversion rates, and member sign ups
- Confident working with analytics and attribution tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Tableau, tracking solutions, internal reporting tools, etc.) to evaluate website traffic, conversion performance, and customer behaviour
- Curious to identify emerging marketing trends, new acquisition opportunities, and innovative platforms to diversify growth efforts
- Empowered to collaborate closely with creative, analytics, product, and international marketing teams to align campaigns with wider business and brand objectives
- Comfortable managing external partners, publishers, affiliate relationships, agencies, and in house campaigns
- Motivated to share insights and best practices across teams to improve overall marketing effectiveness
You are ideally…
- Degree educated (or equivalent experience), ideally in Marketing, Business, Data Science, or a related field
- A professional with 5-10 years of experience in digital performance marketing, ideally focused on member acquisition, subscriptions, or lead generation
- Experienced working with subscription-based products and consumer-facing brands. Experience within the travel or lifestyle industry is highly desirable
- A high performer with strong knowledge of attribution models, conversion tracking, analytics tools, and campaign optimisation methodologies
- Analytical, commercially-minded, and highly data-driven
- Experienced across Paid Social, Affiliate Marketing, Programmatic Advertising, and digital acquisition strategy
- An individual with strong attention to detail who enjoys developing creative concepts and high-performing digital ad copy. Photoshop skills are a plus
- An excellent communicator with strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills
- Empathetic with a hands-on, innovative working style and a can-do attitude
- Passionate about travel and digital consumer experiences
- Fluent in German and English
