Quick Summary
Training and Preparation Attend and successfully complete all mandatory survey training sessions and review any refresher materials shared after training.
Trees for the Future (TREES) partners with farmers to restore their land and unlock prosperity through regenerative farming. Our vision is a future where every farmer is a thriving climate changer—building a prosperous livelihood while restoring the land and contributing to climate solutions.
Since 1989, we’ve worked with communities to grow trees, restore landscapes, and improve livelihoods. Today, our work is farmer-led and grounded in science: farmers grow diverse trees and crops that rebuild soil health, improve food security, support biodiversity, and remove carbon from the atmosphere. By connecting farmers with markets, technology, and finance, we help turn restored land into thriving farm enterprises that strengthen rural economies.
We currently work alongside farming communities in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda. Joining our collaborative team means contributing to lasting change led by farmers, with benefits that reach far beyond the farm.

TREES for the Future (TREES) implements programmes aimed at improving the livelihoods, resilience and wellbeing of participating households and communities.
As part of the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) function, TREES periodically conducts household-level surveys to assess programme reach, implementation progress, outcomes, adoption of interventions, beneficiary experiences and other programme indicators. The data generated through these surveys contributes to programme monitoring, evaluation, learning, accountability, reporting, and evidence-based decision-making.
To support the implementation of the household survey, TREES seeks to engage qualified and competent Household Survey Enumerators to collect accurate, complete, reliable and ethically obtained data from sampled households and respondents using the approved survey questionnaire, TaroWorks application, and relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
