About the Role

Our primary focus will be on powering our Core E-commerce domain. Building a seamless and personalized shopping experience designed to serve millions of customers. As a Data Scientist, you'll play a critical role in driving data-informed decisions; from optimizing ranking and recommendation algorithms to user behavior modeling and improving the efficiency of the systems

Work at the intersection of product, technology, and machine learning; developing models that power seller & user experience, personalization, Growth, and other core E-commerce features

Enhancing a scalable, fast, and reliable discovery infrastructure designed to support the future of digital commerce. As a Data Scientist, you'll play a critical role in driving data-informed decisions; from user intent modeling and ranking optimization to improving recommendation relevance and system reliability

Analyze large-scale structured and unstructured data from multiple sources across the Trendyol ecosystem

Apply best practices for working with ML-Ops infrastructure, improve models and infrastructure to optimize model performance and deployment cycles

Execute A/B experiments, reach conclusions statistically and build upon learnings continously

Collaborate with product, engineering, and risk teams to translate business challenges into data science problems.

Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions

Synthesize methodology and data into actionable business strategy and communicate findings to engineering and management teams as driving business impact

Experience in applied data science and a wide range of data science stack of algorithms and models. Knowledge about recommendation systems, search ranking, or personalization is a big plus

Good knowledge of python or other programming language. Experience in one or more of the libraries such as scikit-learn, Pytorch and TensorFlow is a plus.

Good knowledge of SQL and familiarity with best practices

Strong analytical skills with a data driven approach

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Experience with e-commerce or self-service business models is a big plus
