Automation Test Engineer (Mid-Level)

As part of our expansion, we are building a new team in Cairo to support our client’s transition from manual testing to a modern automation-first testing environment.
Our client is a large-scale SaaS and data connector platform that empowers organizations to connect, transform, and manage data from multiple sources.

The client description could mention that the company is AI-native, meaning the role involves daily, practical use of LLMs and AI tools in everyday work.

Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites.

Create and execute automated functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests.

Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams.

Identify, document, and track software defects.

Continuously improve testing processes and automation coverage.

Support the transition from manual testing to fully automated testing practices.

Leverage AI-assisted testing tools and modern QA technologies.

2+ years of software testing experience.

Strong hands-on experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium and Cypress

Experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.

Experience across multiple testing types, including UI, E2E, API, component and integration testing.

Experience working in Agile environments.

Understanding of software development lifecycle and quality assurance best practices.

Test Automation Frameworks

Jira or similar test management tools

Git / Version Control

Candidates should have experience with at least one of the following:

Basic understanding of AI concepts

Experience using AI productivity tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Codex, or similar tools.

Interest in AI-assisted software testing and automation
