Audit utility invoices for accuracy across rates, usage, and charges
Identify discrepancies, errors, and billing anomalies
Validate billing data against historical patterns
Support tracking and resolution of invoice issues
Analyze consumption and cost drivers across client portfolios
Perform variance analysis across sites and billing periods
Identify anomalies and unusual usage patterns
Research utility rates to evaluate feasibility to switch tariffs
Develop standard and ad hoc reports and dashboards
Prepare clear client-facing insights and summaries
Present analytical findings in a structured format
Perform cost tracking and variance analysis
Support budgeting using historical data trends
Validate accruals and align financial datasets
Improve auditing workflows and reporting processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Support automation and efficiency initiatives
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
0–5 years of experience working in a regular professional business setting
Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, PowerBI), and ability to perform data analysis in Microsoft Excel
Utility billing or invoice auditing experience
Advanced Excel skills
Familiarity with either the North American energy power or natural gas markets, or both
