• Experience supporting an active fund raise

• Some marketing or copywriting strength, enough to contribute to newsletters and outward-facing fund communications

• Consumer, media, or brand sector exposure

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field

  Full fluency in the fund's thesis, portfolio, and active pipeline

  LP pipeline tracking current and accurate

• →

  Fundraising materials audited; gaps and outdated content flagged

  First LP communications drafted and shipped with minimal revision

  Research priorities agreed with the Principal

• LP Pipeline fully current, with every meeting logged and followed up

• Fundraising materials updated and consistent across deck, one-pager, and data room

• First market map or thematic research piece delivered

• Contributing to active diligence workstreams with limited direction

• LP communication drafted independently and shipped with light editing

• Owns LP tracking and follow-up end to end; nothing pending, nothing missed

• Fundraising materials maintained without prompting

• Multiple research pieces delivered, with a clear point of view each

• Diligence support delivered on live opportunities, including primary research calls

• Written work reaches LPs and founders with editing that is optional, not required

• Trusted to draft in the fund's voice without a review cycle on routine communications

• Research and documentation workflows fully owned

Submit two writing samples: one analytical piece such as a memo, thesis, or research note, and one relationship-facing piece such as an LP update, recap email, or investor communication. Writing samples carry significant weight in this process.
