Space is a warfighting domain. True Anomaly seeks those with the talent and ambition to build the technology that secures it.

OUR MISSION

True Anomaly delivers decisive capabilities for space superiority. We build autonomous spacecraft, advanced payloads, mission software, and space-based interceptors — enabling the U.S. and its Allies to secure the space environment and counter threats from the ultimate high ground.

OUR VALUES

  • Be the offset. We create asymmetric advantages with creativity and ingenuity.
  • What would it take? We challenge assumptions to deliver ambitious results.
  • It’s the people. Our team is our competitive advantage and we are better together.

At True Anomaly, production is a strategic advantage. Our ability to rapidly build, integrate, test, and deliver high-performance systems at scale is critical to mission success and long-term competitiveness.

As Vice President of Production, you will build our production organization into a high-rate, quality focused build and test machine.  You will drive vertical integration to achieve pace and cost targets while developing automation and test infrastructure to support lights out verification across multiple product lines and mission sets. You will own manufacturing, assembly/integration, EGSE design and production, quality, and test and test automation — building the operational systems, infrastructure, and teams required to scale efficiently without compromising quality or speed.

This role is responsible for creating a data-driven production organization that continuously improves throughput, reliability, and cost while enabling rapid iteration and delivery across the business.

Responsibilities

~2 min read
  • Lead all manufacturing, assembly, integration, and production test operations across the company’s product lines while supporting prototyping for research and development.
  • Develop and execute the production strategy required to scale from development programs into repeatable, high-rate manufacturing.
  • Own the operational execution of the company’s vertical integration efforts, including standing up internal manufacturing and test capabilities for propulsion systems, fluid systems, PCBAs, FlatSats, RF systems, and integrated space vehicles.
  • Build scalable production systems, workflows, and operational infrastructure that improve throughput, quality, and delivery performance across complex hardware production environments.
  • Drive implementation of lean manufacturing principles, automation, and data-driven operational management across production environments supporting spacecraft, missile defense, and mission-critical component and payload systems.
  • Own development and deployment of production tooling, EGSE, fixtures, and automated test systems required to support scalable manufacturing, integration, and environmental test operations.
  • Partner closely with Engineering teams to drive design-for-manufacturing and design-for-test principles into product development.
  • Establish production metrics, dashboards, and operational review processes focused on cycle time, yield, labor efficiency, throughput, and cost reduction.
  • Lead quality execution across manufacturing, integration, inspection, RF test, propulsion test, and production verification activities, ensuring quality is embedded into operational processes.
  • Drive automation of test execution, production data collection, and operational reporting to improve repeatability, traceability, and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Engineering, Facilities, Security, and Program Management to ensure aligned production readiness and execution across both classified and unclassified production environments.
  • Build and mentor high-performing teams capable of supporting rapid company growth and operational scale.
  • Support long-term facility, staffing, secure manufacturing, and production capacity planning to meet future mission demand.
