Seeking a Diesel Mechanic to join the team in a shop and field-based role. This position plays a critical role in keeping trucks and heavy equipment running reliably, minimizing downtime, and supporting daily operations with high-quality repairs and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

→Maintain and repair diesel trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment to ensure safe, reliable operation
→Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues across a range of construction equipment
→Complete preventative maintenance including fluids, filters, and wear components
→Perform repairs on engines, brakes, steering, suspension, and drivetrain systems
→Inspect equipment regularly and identify issues before breakdowns occur
→Respond to field breakdowns and perform on-site repairs as needed
→Track maintenance schedules and document completed work
→Collaborate with operators and field teams to reduce downtime and improve equipment performance
→Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment

Hands-on experience with diesel engines, trucks, and heavy equipment
Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
Ability to work both in a shop and in field conditions
Solid understanding of preventative maintenance practices
Strong work ethic with a sense of urgency and accountability
Ability to communicate clearly with team members and supervisors
