Family Law Attorney

• →Manage family law matters from intake through resolution, including hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations
• →Handle discovery end to end, including drafting and responding, reviewing production, and preparing motions when needed
• →Prepare clear, accurate, and timely pleadings and legal documents
• →Develop practical case strategies focused on strong outcomes and cost efficiency for clients
• →Advise and support clients through emotionally complex situations with empathy and confidence
• →Appear in court for hearings and conferences; trial exposure without pressure to be first chair
• →Track billable time and manage a steady caseload independently
• →Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff in a team-oriented environment
• →Mentor junior team members and assist with training as needed
• →Stay current on California family law developments and best practices

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school
• Active California Bar membership in good standing
• 5+ years of family law experience
• Comfort handling evidentiary hearings and contested matters
• Strong written, verbal, and courtroom communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team
• High emotional intelligence and professionalism when working with high-conflict matters
• Strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail
• Valid California Class C driver's license and reliable transportation

• Experience working with high net worth clients
• Familiarity with Clio, LawYaw, or similar case management tools
• Interest in long-term growth, leadership, or partner-track opportunities
• Business development mindset and ability to originate clients

• Competitive base salary range of $150,000 to $190,000
• Monthly billable expectation of 100 to 120 hours with bonus potential for exceeding targets
