Grand Rapids Kroc Center - Gym Attendant

• →Provide general supervision of the activity areas and participants.
• →Provide information and answer questions about available programs, gym schedule and events.
• →Follow the weekly gym schedule as outlined in the Monthly Drop-In Recreation Schedule.
• →Maintain accurate equipment check out and check in system.
• →Report all equipment and gym area problems to the Gym Supervisor.
• →Maintain accurate headcounts.
• →Organize and supervise activities in the gym as assigned.
• →Operate scoreboard when needed.
• →Assist in class and program check-in procedures.
• →Enforce all safety guidelines that pertain to the gym and locker rooms on a constant and consistent basis.
• →Ensure participants under 18 years of age are wearing wristbands.
• →Maintain the cleanliness and operation of the gym equipment.
• →Maintain cleanliness of the gym by following shift cleaning checklist.
• →Clean and inspect equipment used in the gym.
• →Report all equipment breakdowns according to the stated procedure.
• →Repair and fix equipment as needed.
• →Collect and manage the Lost and Found.
• →Wash lost and found items, towels, and other items as needed.
• →Other duties as assigned.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
• Working Knowledge of TEAMS and SharePoint
