Resident Advocate

• →Assist with menu planning.
• →Supervise common areas, dorms, lounges, clothing closet, and laundry room,
• →De-escalate conflict and manage crises as necessary, excellent verbal and written communication
• →Perform daily resident/security check on guests, rooms, and exterior of building
• →General Office duties, answering the phone, filing, typing, record keeping, recording shift summary
• →Attend all trainings and staff meetings as directed
• →Cleaning and janitorial work as required including laundry as needed
• →Keep dryer vents clear of dust and lint
• →Assist deep cleaning of the kitchen
• →Floor upkeep, including dining room, office, laundry room
• →In absence of cook, perform kitchen duties
• →Must remain on duty until replacement arrives
• →Perform other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma / GED, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities

• Maintain client confidentiality

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
• Working knowledge of TEAMS and SharePoint

• Must have and maintain a current valid driver’s license and pass the Salvation Army Motor Vehicle Record check (MVR)
• Complete Safe From Harm training, and keep current as needed

Part Time (28 hours per week)

• The accrual rate is based upon years of service and approved hours worked.
