We are looking for a dynamic and talented mining Heavy Equipment Mechanic at our fast-growing, forward thinking mining staffing company headquartered in Bloomington, Indiana.

Turner Staffing Group is seeking an energetic mining professional who can leverage their mining knowledge to expand upon our fast-growing business, creating best practices for equipment operations to ensure profitable operations. This person will function as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, willing to do, learn, perform and improve any maintenance task. Tasks will be defined and evolve in all areas of mining operations to ensure repairs and maintenance of all onsite equipment are practiced. You will work with the Project Superintendent to develop maintenance and repair procedures that will ensure safe operations.

• Follow a consistent and regular schedule to perform various types of maintenance and repair on all onsite assets

• Perform repairs and maintenance using tools, machine tools and measuring instruments

• Diagnose and troubleshoot systems and structures

• Recondition and repair parts

• Operate and test all equipment

• Diagnoses problem areas for any significant wear and tear

• Produce detailed reports and repair logs

• Follow all established procedures and protocols

• Build positive relationships with internal and external teams

• Perform additional duties as assigned
