Sales Assistant TW

Responsibilities: This position combines Contract Sales and OPS Admin. skills. Job duties are supportive of Sales and Operations and are designed to result in a high level of customer satisfaction. Please note this position is not limited to what is listed below.

· Assists Contract Sales by monitoring customer portals and helping to align material supply with customer demand dates.

· Communicate effectively with sales employees, mill service representatives and customers.

· Assist sales by monitoring and updating open mill orders and outside processing.

· Assists OPS Admin with logistics, certifications, quality and other related tasks.

Requirements:

· High school diploma or GED (General Education Degree)

· Industry and/or sales experience preferred.

· Ability to read, write, and fluently speak the English language.

· Possess effective communication skills which include verbal and written

· Must have experience with Microsoft Office

· Willingness to learn proprietary programs including Metalware and Nex-Gen.

· Displays effective use of time management skills

· Attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills critical to the success of the role

· Start time varies from 7am-9am with a consistent 8 hour a day schedule – staggered rotation

· Possess strong math aptitude especially regarding percentage and fractions.
