Job Details

Position Title: Contract Review Attorney (Class Action Litigation)
Location: Remote
Employment Type: Independent Contractor / Temporary
Pay Rate: $45 – $55 per hour (depending on experience and review platform familiarity)
Estimated Duration: 2 to 4 months (with potential for extension based on case needs)
Expected Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week

Position Overview
A fast-growing plaintiffs-side class action and complex litigation law firm seeks a diligent and detail-oriented Contract Attorney to assist with large-scale electronic document review. The ideal candidate will analyze complex corporate documents, internal communications, and financial records to identify key evidence supporting consumer protection and privacy class actions.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct first- and second-level privilege, relevance, and confidentiality reviews of electronic documents.
Apply complex issue coding and tagging protocols accurately under tight deadlines.
Identify “hot” documents and draft concise summaries for senior litigation associates and partners.
Escalate potential privilege issues or critical evidentiary findings immediately.
Participate in periodic team meetings regarding review strategies and quality control metrics.

Qualifications & Requirements

Active JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
Active bar admission in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
Minimum 2-3 years of document review experience, preferably within civil litigation or plaintiffs-side class actions.
Demonstrated proficiency with major e-discovery review platforms (e.g., Relativity, Logikcull, Everlaw).
Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to commit to a full-time schedule (40 hours/week) and pass a brief conflict check.
