The Human Resources Generalist II supports Rheem North America by implementing, administering, and overseeing human resources programs, policies, and initiatives. Provides day-to-day HR support across a broad range of functions, including compensation and benefits programs, employee relations, training and development, and affirmative action/equal employment opportunity (AA/EEO) compliance. Partners with leaders and employees to deliver effective HR services that support organizational goals and foster a positive workplace culture.
This position will serve Rheem North America, located in Atlanta, GA (Hybrid). This role follows our hybrid work arrangement, with team members working in the office Monday through Thursday and remotely on Fridays.
- Partners with employees and management to communicate various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards and other government regulations.
- Administers various human resource plans and procedures for organization personnel, including disciplinary action.
- Assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures
- Responds to employee relation issues such as employee complaints, harassment allegations and civil rights complaints.
- Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.
- Works under some supervision of department leadership with independence on projects in scope.
- Prepare, schedule, and facilitate a smooth new hire onboarding process, coordinating with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional first-day experience
Assist with the Leave Management process; provide guidance to managers and employees
Partners with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support immigration and global mobility programs.
- Assists in coordinating benefits (open enrollment, changes, questions, etc) with employees
- Coordinates training, professional development opportunities, performance reviews, and promotions when required
- Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
- 3+ years’ experience in Human Resources
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office Suite
- Ability to work in ambiguity
- Ability to exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, and creativity to changing needs and situations
- Willingness to approach challenges differently
- Demonstrated ability to work well with others in a matrix team environment
- Broad knowledge of human resource management principles
- Ability to maintain the highest degree of confidentiality
- Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management
