The Supervisor, Sales & Operations will establish, build and drive the Sales and Operations Planning process across Rheem Air businesses through internal and external data analysis, process improvement, and engagement with key stakeholders. Manages the S&OP results and drives alignment with key constituents (i.e. External Customers, Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Finance, Operations)
This position will support Rheem North America, and can be located in Fort Smith, AR, Lewisville, TX, or Indianapolis, IN. This role follows our hybrid work arrangement, with team members working in the office Monday through Thursday and remotely on Fridays.
- Strong, results oriented leadership that includes development and deployment of improvement initiatives, timelines, and budgets.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration and establishment of an Operating Plan for critical product transitions (M1). Monitor the performance to plan, adjusting the Operating plan, as needed.
Lead the operational and tactical planning process to maximize customer service levels and financial KPI attainment, collaborating with cross-function teams including commercial, supply chain, distribution, logistics, customer service, and sales. This position will also be responsible for managing relevant measures (KPIs) to help drive improved operational performance.
- Create and execute communication and management of resources across Plants 124, 152, and 911.
- Drive accountability and process improvement though aggressive goal setting, execution, and KPI management (e.g.back order rates, backlog management, capacity allocation, inventory turns, service levels, inventory health, etc.).
- Proactively identify supply constraints and propose solutions.
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders to ensure that product promotions, marketing plans, sales plans, budgets, product launchs, and product phase-out plans are reflected in a relevant and improving S&OP process.
Work with the Supply Chain to identify opportunities for improvement related to capacity planning, productivity and plan attainment metrics through Continuous Improvement efforts as well as planning system parameters
- Lead major product transition planning and execution, supporting customer allocations
- Build consensus between different teams to reduce the gap between demand and supply.
- Analyze trends in demand, supply, inventory health and factory capacity on a periodic basis. Identifies/mitigates constraints in supply to meet demand and Rheem profitability.
- Coordinates with Marketing personnel, new orders, production tables, and lead times of various
- Participate in the executive S&OP process.
- Represents the S&OP organization in GCE Master Planning and Material Requirements Planning initiatives
- Coordinates with Marketing personnel, new orders, production tables, and lead times of various assembly operations.
- Initiates, prepares, and presents for approval of the Division, the Production, Sales, and Inventory Plan (PSI) on a timely basis.
- Advises the appropriate management of production problem areas, business conditions, and trends, as they develop.
- Maintain all relevant system data parameters.
- Drive one ACD S&OP planning process.
Leads and owns master data in support of efficiency and accuracy in plans
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelors Degree with focus in Operations Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics/Transportation, Engineering or a related field of study
5+ years’ experience in planning systems.
Supervisory experience
- Experience in a multi-plant, high mix manufacturing environment
Deep knowledge of Rheem Air products and manufacturing and planning processes, required.
- Demonstrates ability to work well with others is a matrix team environment and solve problems thru cross-functional collaboration and influence
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Must provide consistent, credible leadership to a team of 1-2 supply chain planners and analysts that are responsible for S&OE and Inventory Health.
- Strong business analysis, decision making, and systematic problem-solving skills
- Experience with Oracle ERP systems
- Ability to Travel (10~20%)
Ability to speak/present information in front of groups.
Independent thought, good judgment, problem solving skills, and ability to prioritize multiple projects.
Ability to analyze information and form a recommendation.
Knowledge and experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen Teams and standard work methodology.
HOW TO STAND OUT:

Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish language highly
