Criminal Background Check

This position is subject to pre-employment screening (criminal background, drug testing, and/or education verification). A criminal conviction or arrest pending adjudication alone shall not disqualify an applicant except as provided by law. Any criminal history will be evaluated in relationship to job responsibilities and business necessity.  The information obtained in these reports will be used in a confidential, non-discriminatory manner consistent with state and federal law.

The Business Intelligence Analyst / Developer designs, develops, and maintains reporting solutions, data products, and automated processes supporting Institutional Advancement’s Salesforce CRM environment. The position uses SQL, data modeling, ETL processes, Salesforce reporting, and business intelligence tools to transform institutional data into accurate, accessible, and actionable information.

The position manages the full reporting lifecycle, including gathering requirements, preparing and validating data, developing reports and dashboards, delivering results, documenting business logic, and converting recurring requests into reusable or automated solutions. The individual works with technical and nontechnical stakeholders to translate business questions into reliable reporting products.

As reporting technologies continue to evolve, the position also designs, tests, and manages AI-assisted reporting and automation processes. This includes developing prompts and instructions, establishing business rules and human-review checkpoints, evaluating outputs, monitoring process performance, and identifying appropriate uses of emerging AI capabilities. The position ensures that reporting and AI-assisted processes protect sensitive data and comply with approved definitions, security requirements, and institutional standards.
The ideal candidate is a practical problem-solver who can work across the reporting stack, learn new technologies quickly, communicate clearly, and build sustainable solutions rather than one-time outputs.
  • Proficiency in SQL and ETL tools.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM reporting and dashboard development.
  • Working knowledge of data warehousing concepts and database structures.
  • Familiarity with data integration processes and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of automation, AI-assisted tools, prompt design, and process improvement methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Certifications in Salesforce, SQL, or data analytics are a plus.
  • Knowledge of vector databases or graph databases is a bonus but not required.
