Three (3) years or more of experience working as a Radiology Technologist preferred.
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist and Licensed by the State of Arkansas in Radiology Technology.
Sedentary Work | Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
Employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; and/or visual inspection at distances close to the eyes.
The employee is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (such as in typical office or administrative work).

Strong knowledge of radiographic imaging techniques and patient care protocols.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to ensure patient-centered care.
Ability to read, write, and follow oral instructions.
Knowledge of all required supplies and equipment necessary for each procedure.
Knowledge of the Anatomy of vessels and organs in the body (for proper positioning).

Operate radiographic equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images.

Assist in patient examinations and treatments as required.

Review and interpret health record documentation to ensure accurate identification of diagnoses and procedures.

Adhere to UAMS policies, including Core Concepts of Patient and Family Centered Care, which emphasize dignity, respect, information sharing, participation, and collaboration.
