Landscape Technician

• High School diploma/GED required.
• Valid AR driver’s license with fewer than 12 points on your Motor Vehicle Record.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures and outdoor conditions.
• Computer program proficiency level: Novice.
• 1 year of landscaping or grounds experience preferred.

• →Maintain campus lawns and landscaped areas by mowing, trimming, edging, raking, removing leaves, and applying mulch to ensure a clean and attractive environment.
• →Assist with planting, pruning, and maintaining flowers, trees, shrubs, and gardens throughout the campus in all seasons.
• →Operate, clean, inspect, and perform routine maintenance on lawnmowers, weed eaters, and other groundskeeping equipment.
• →Maintain clean and safe outdoor spaces by emptying trash receptacles, servicing dumpster areas, pressure washing, and performing general groundskeeping duties.
• →Perform snow and ice removal and assist with other weather-related maintenance activities as designated essential personnel.
• →Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and respect when interacting with patients, visitors, employees, and others while supporting the UAMS mission.
• →Perform other grounds maintenance and departmental duties as assigned.
