This is a temporary/PRN Part-Time (as needed) position (not benefits eligible) located at the UAMS Health Benton/Bryant location.

The Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) is responsible for processing, evaluating and performing tests to identify microorganisms or antigens according to written procedures and performs susceptibilities. This person will also record and evaluate daily, weekly, and monthly QC in their assigned areas for further review by the supervisor. This position requires one to maintain safe work practices, follow all regulatory requirements and engage supervisor, manager, or director as appropriate.
