Applicant must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
Applicant must hold a current Arkansas Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (LRCP).
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Respiratory care.

Schedule: Full-Time; Night Shifts Available
The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) works under physician direction and under the supervision of the Respiratory Care Clinical Team Manager. They are a professional who works within the limits of their license and credentials adhering to institutional and departmental policies, procedures and standards. The Registered Respiratory Therapist is required to provide quality patient care, promote a healthy work environment, and project a positive image for UAMS Medical Center.

Performs routine respiratory care procedures including, but not limited to: updrafts, metered dose inhalers (MDI), chest physiotherapy (CPT), arterial blood gases (ABG), incentive spirometry, intrapulmonary percussive ventilation (IPV), patient education, mechanical ventilator setup and management. Assists in codes and rapid responses.

Calls for, or physically moves, equipment and medical supplies needed into the assigned work areas

Enters patient treatment notes in e-chart system and/or places documentation in patient charts

May perform other duties as assigned.
