Student Employee

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Must be a student in the UAMS College of Health Professions Department of Audiology and Speech Pathology.

This position is subject to pre-employment screening (criminal background, drug testing, and/or education verification). A criminal conviction or arrest pending adjudication alone shall not disqualify an applicant except as provided by law. Any criminal history will be evaluated in relationship to job responsibilities and business necessity.  The information obtained in these reports will be used in a confidential, non-discriminatory manner consistent with state and federal law. 

• →Help schedule clients; answer calls professionally; take detailed messages from current and prospective SLP and AUD clients; and relay messages to the appropriate staff.
• →Answer the doorbell and check in clients and visitors according to UAMS and ASP procedures.
• →Cover the front desk during staff lunches, breaks, and absences.
• →Record weekly client attendance in ClinicNote as directed by the clinic manager.
• →Help clean and prepare clinic spaces, and copy or laminate materials as requested.
• →Check assessments, treatment materials, and iPads daily to ensure they are accounted for and secured in locked storage.
• →Receive, check in, organize, and restock clinic and office supplies.

The Student Employee will share time between Mrs. Stephens and Mrs. Johnson based on clinic and department needs.
