ACCOUNTANT OFFICER

Key Responsibilities Financial Management Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in the accounting system. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports. Monitor cash flow, petty cash, and bank transactions. Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations. Accounts Payable and Receivable Process supplier payments and ensure timely settlement of invoices. Monitor customer payments and follow up on outstanding debts. Maintain proper records of creditors and debtors. Payroll and Statutory Compliance Assist in payroll preparation and salary processing. Ensure timely submission of statutory payments such as PAYE, NSSF, WCF, and SDL. Maintain compliance with TRA and other regulatory requirements. Budgeting and Reporting Assist in preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. Prepare management reports and support external/internal audits. Provide financial analysis to support business decisions. Internal Control and Compliance Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures. Maintain confidentiality of financial information. Support implementation of internal controls to minimize fraud and financial risks. Requirements Qualifications and Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounting, preferably in FMCG industry. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. High level of integrity and confidentiality.
