KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Brand & Market Strategy -Develop and execute the national brand and commercial strategy for medium trucks nad pickup segments. -Position the company as a leading provider of reliable commercial transport solutions in Tanzania - Conduct market intelligence on competitors, pricing, customer needs and sector trends. - Identify growth opportunities across logistics, construction, mining, agriculture and government fleets 2. Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth - Lead and manage the sales team (sales officer, consultants and key accounts executives) - Drive achievement of monthly, quaterly and annual sales targets - Develop strucrured sales pipelines and performance tracking systems - Optimize pricing strategies, promotions and financing partnerships to improve conversion rate 3. Key Accounts & Institutional Sales - Manage and grow strategic relationships with government ministries, parastatals, NGOs and large corporates - Lead high value negotiations and tender processes for fleet sales - Build long term partnerships with long term operators, logistic companies and contractors 4. Product & Market Development - Work closely with suppliers and principals to align product offering with market demands - Provide feedback of product specification, configuration and customers requiremnets - Support porduct launches, demonstration, road shows and fleet activation events 5. Team leadership and Capability building - Recruit, train,and develop high performance sales team - Set clear KPIs and conduct regular performance reviews - Build a strong sales culture focused on accountability, customer focus and results 6. Market & Brand Activation - Oversee execution of marketing campaigns, exhibitions and trade fairs - Ensure consistent brand visibility across all sales channnels and customer touch points - Collaborate with marketing team to develop sales enablement materials Requirements KEY REQUIREMENTS EXPERIENCE: - At least 5+ years specifically in automativem commercial vehicle, trucks, pickups or heavy equipment industry - Proven experience managing sales teams and achieving aggressive revenue targets - Strong exposure to government tenders and B2B fleet sales TECHNICAL INDUSTRIAL KNOWLEDGE: - Deep understanding of commercial vehicle market dynamics in Tanzania and East Africa - Knowledge of fleet financing, licensing structure and asset acquisition models - Familiarity with OEM distribution models and after sales ecosystem EDUCATION: - Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, Automotive Engineering or related field. MBA or post graduate qualification is an added advantage
