Certified Occupancy Specialist- Senior Housing

We're looking for an organized, detail-oriented Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) to support our senior affordable housing programs and residents. 

• →Process applications and determine eligibility for affordable housing programs
• →Complete move-in, annual, and interim certifications/recertifications
• →Verify income, assets, household information, and required documentation
• →Calculate rents and tenant payments accurately
• →Maintain compliant resident files and occupancy documentation
• →Ensure compliance with HUD, Section 8, LIHTC, Fair Housing, and other applicable requirements
• →Assist residents with questions regarding eligibility, rent, and occupancy

• COS certification required, or ability to obtain after hire
• 2+ years of affordable housing, occupancy, leasing, or property management experience preferred
• Knowledge of HUD, Section 8, LIHTC, and Fair Housing requirements
• Experience with income certifications and recertifications
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and customer service skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and housing/property management software
