About the Role
~1 min readAs a Bank Support Worker at Linwood House, you’ll provide vital care and assistance to our clients and working as part of a dedicated team, you’ll help create a safe, structured, and supportive environment that fosters recovery.

Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Provide practical and emotional support to clients, guiding them towards an abstinent lifestyle.
- →Assist therapists in risk management planning and reviews.
- →Ensure clients follow programme guidelines and support investigations into any breaches, including substance testing.
- →Complete client intakes, assessments, and discharges efficiently.
- →Maintain accurate records and update client databases.
- →Coordinate transfers and referrals between agencies and support services.
- →Assist clients with medication reminders and conduct audits.
- →Help individuals develop recovery plans tailored to their needs.
- →Support clients with external appointments, providing transport assistance where necessary.
- →Assist with life skills development, including housing, benefits, and daily living support.
Requirements
~1 min read- NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Clear verbal and written communication at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Excellent listening skills with an empathetic approach.
- Strong negotiation and boundary-setting abilities.
- A calm, non-judgmental attitude, even under pressure.
- Good customer service skills.
