Responsibilities

→ Maintains organization of Med Room.
→ Reviews schedules and ensures that charts and medications are set-up for each physician daily.
→ Provides emergency first aid to clients.
→ Acts as liaison between physician and other caregivers.
→ Obtains health assessment for new clients.

Requirements

Requires associate degree in nursing. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
At least one-year clinical experience in a hospital setting is required. Previous psychiatric experience is preferred.
This position requires current RN license from the State of Ohio. Certification as a psychiatric nurse is preferred.
Must demonstrate comfort in interacting with individuals with mental illness. Must be able to work with ill, disabled, emotionally upset and at times hostile individuals.
Must establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Must have excellent customer service skills.
