Young Graduate in Data and Software Engineering (Zurich, Switzerland)

Founded in 2017, Unit8 is a fast-growing Swiss AI and data analytics consulting and services company dedicated to solving complex problems of traditional industries like automotive, chemical, financial services, manufacturing and pharma. We work with some of the biggest organizations in Europe to solve the challenges that directly affect their business - be it operations, finance, manufacturing or R&D. • use software best practices in continuous integration and delivery, versioning and automation;
• use your skills to build and maintain service and data infrastructure;
• participate as junior engineer in all phases of the software development life cycle - planning, implementation, deployment, testing and maintenance;

In order to be successful in this role, you are/have:

• motivated and eager to learn different aspects of engineering
• comfortable interacting with technical and business people
• strong communication and presentation skills
• recently graduated/finishing your MSc or BSc in Computer Science or related major;
• familiar with version control and collaboration tooling (git)
• familiar with CI/CD frameworks and automated deployment concepts (i.e Docker, K8s)
• fluent in both English and German
• available for a minimum of 32h a week.
