Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Recommend and apply pesticides and fertilizers using specialized equipment and vehicles.
- →Maintain accurate log books detailing applicated acres and activities.
- →Perform maintenance and calibration on application equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- →Follow up on weed control in sprayed areas.
- →Wear proper protective equipment, actively promote safety, and adhere to all codes, laws, regulations, and procedures.
- →Participate in continuing education for maintaining pesticide applicator licenses and attend applicator equipment workshops.
- →Perform various tasks, including soil sampling, fertilizer mixing, equipment maintenance, and transportation of chemicals, fertilizer, and seed.
Requirements

- Certification: Current pesticide license/certification preferred
- Knowledge and Skills: Familiarity with ag pesticides, weed identification, and mechanical aptitude.
- Communication: Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Attention to Detail: Display meticulous attention to detail in workmanship and completed tasks.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and drive for extended periods.
- Ability to travel frequently throughout the assigned region.
- Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions as needed.
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to safely access active job sites and navigate uneven terrain.
