GARDEN SHOP RETAIL LEAD

Longwood Gardens is seeking a part-time Garden Shop Retail Lead to assist in overseeing the daily operation of The Garden Shop ensuring a high standard of execution and guest service. Responsibilities include:

• Performing Retail Associate duties while providing floor leadership and team support
• Assisting with training, coaching, and onboarding new team members
• Leading daily operations, including register accountability and cash handling
• Delivering exceptional guest service and resolve concerns as needed
• Assigning and supporting daily tasks, including replenishment and recovery

• Supporting sales goals, visual merchandising, and store presentation standards

The schedule varies and requires working a minimum average of 20 hours per week including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A minimum of one-year experience working in retail sales
• Exceptional customer service, communication, and hospitality skills
• Experience with cash handling, POS system, Microsoft Office, and other systems as identified 
• The ability to climb, stand for long periods of time, lifting of up to 40 pounds, and occasionally working in outdoor area
