Design Technologist - Hong Kong

 As an international architectural firm, UNS is active in the broadest fields of architecture. Our project portfolio covers every aspect of architecture, ranging from small to large scale projects, research and theory.  The atmosphere within our global offices, including our UNS Asia offices in Shanghai and Hong Kong, is international, multidisciplinary, design-oriented and ambitious, but also open, non-hierarchical, team-based and friendly, with attention to personal well-being, knowledge development and career planning.

We are currently looking for Design Technologist to join our Hong Kong Office.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in architecture or computationally focused design

• 5 years or above of BIM, computational and parametric design experience as a DT or similar position

• Experience working between multiple software platforms, with at least 2 years of experience working on Rhino-Revit interoperability workflows

• Expert knowledge of Rhino inside, Grasshopper, as well as relevant programming languages such as python, C#, etc.

• Creative, innovative and enthusiastic about research in new design technology and software, industry developments in integrated practice, and other applicable techniques

• Excellent communication and coordination skills with architects on how to implement computational approaches

• Hands-on, proactive, self-motivated designer who works as a team member on projects

• Enthusiastic, accountable, with the ability to coach and motivate project teams in the implementation of new design technologies

• Previous experience working on built international, large-scale projects in top-tier international design firms is a plus

• Able to cope with conflicting demands, prioritize duties, and work effectively under pressure is beneficial
