→Perform welding works according to approved drawings and quality specifications
→Responsible to examine and measure work pieces to ensure conformance with specification
→Identify potential welding problem and work out the solution
→Able to read and interpret technical drawing and other written instructions and diagrams to perform welding works and requirements to produce work piece
→Work with Supervisor to ensure welding works are carried out in a controlled manner
→Perform MIG, TIG and other types of weld accordingly
→Coordinate with Production for efficient installations
→De-bur and grind metal as necessary to achieve proper surface texture
→Improve and sustain housekeeping
→Support in training as and when required
→Any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time

Minimum 1 year direct working experience as a welder (preferably MIG welding) – equipment and procedures
Able to read and understand work order, technical drawing and welding symbols
Knowledge of health and safety procedures
Physically fit to perform all duties relating to welding
Team player, able to work with all levels
