Customer Success Engineering - Cement

As a Success Engineer – Cement at UptimeAI, you will play a key role in helping cement customers improve plant reliability, equipment performance, and operational outcomes through the UptimeAI platform.

You will apply your cement industry and engineering knowledge to monitor industrial assets, evaluate AI-generated alerts, identify potential equipment issues, and help customers realize measurable operational value.

You will work closely with Customer Success Managers, Technical Consultants, and Product teams to understand customer operations, validate AI insights, and translate technical findings into actionable recommendations.

This role is well-suited for early-career engineers with a strong interest in cement manufacturing, plant operations, reliability engineering, and industrial AI, with an opportunity to grow into a customer-facing cement domain expert over time.

  Apply cement plant knowledge to understand equipment behavior, operating conditions, and common failure modes.

• →

  Support alert management within the UptimeAI platform by reviewing, categorizing, validating, and documenting alerts and outcomes.

  Monitor equipment and model performance and identify opportunities for model retraining and optimization.

• →

  Analyze AI-generated insights across key cement plant equipment and processes, including kilns, mills, crushers, conveyors, fans, compressors, and other critical assets.

  Work with customer teams to validate alerts and understand whether recommended actions are practical within their operating environment.

  Quantify and track customer value, including cost avoidance, reduced downtime, improved reliability, and performance improvements.

  Contribute to customer case studies, value stories, and internal success summaries.

  Support customer meetings, technical discussions, training sessions, and operational or performance reviews.

  Identify opportunities to improve customer adoption and the use of UptimeAI across the plant.

  Collaborate with Technical Consultants, Customer Success Managers, and Product teams to continuously improve customer experience and platform outcomes.

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

• 3+ years exposure to cement manufacturing and plant operations.

• Understanding of cement manufacturing processes, ideally including raw mills, kilns, clinker cooler, cement mills, crushers, and material handling.

• Strong interest in reliability engineering, predictive maintenance, and asset performance management.

• Exposure to reliability concepts such as RCM, FMEA, condition monitoring, vibration analysis, or predictive maintenance.

• Comfortable working with data, dashboards, and analytical tools.

• Curious and detail-oriented, with an interest in understanding how AI and analytics can improve industrial operations.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Able to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Familiarity with SaaS platforms, analytics tools, or industrial software is a plus.

• Mentorship from senior industry and technical experts.
