Travel Medical Assistant

Bring your MA skills directly to patients at home. We’re hiring a Washington-based Medical Assistant to support Medicare Annual Wellness Visits and preventive care in the community.

• Pay: $31 per hour
• Type: W-2 regular full-time
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Travel: Throughout Washington based on patient and coverage needs
• Work Setting: Field-based, in-home member visits

• →Complete scheduled in-home member visits
• →Support Medicare Annual Wellness Visits and other preventive-care activities
• →Take vitals, complete screenings, perform approved point-of-care testing such as A1Cs and UAs, and document visits
• →Support Well-Child Visits when assigned
• →Document accurately using EMR/EHR systems
• →Follow clinical, safety, HIPAA, and infection-control procedures

• Home visits will start in Clark County, WA, with travel extending throughout Washington based on coverage needs
• Schedules are typically provided about two weeks ahead
• Mileage is reimbursed at $0.725 per mile between eligible patient visits
• Required travel time is paid
• Eligible extended or overnight travel expenses are covered, including transportation, rental cars when needed, hotel, and meals

• At least one year of Medical Assistant experience
• Active Washington State Medical Assistant certification/credential
• Medical Assistant certificate, diploma, or equivalent qualification
• Hands-on clinical Medical Assistant experience
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, current registration, and active auto insurance
• Comfort working independently in patients’ homes
• Ability to meet vaccination and TB/PPD onboarding requirements
• Willingness to travel throughout Washington based on patient and business needs

• Medicare Annual Wellness Visit experience
• Home-visit, field-based, mobile-care, or community health experience
• Experience with A1Cs, UAs, specimen collection, or similar point-of-care testing
• Well-Child Visit or preventive-care experience
• Experience documenting patient visits in an EMR/EHR system
