Summary/Objective:

The Pneumatic/Vacuum Truck Operator will perform a wide range of physical activities that require strength and flexibility of whole body for handling, positioning, moving, and manipulating equipment and materials and vacuum truck operations. The Vacuum Operator/CDL Driver will be responsible for driving and operating efficiently and safely all power equipment and vehicles in accordance with DOT laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

→Operate and set up all necessary equipment in accordance with operation training and guidelines and safety procedures.
→Adhere to all safety policies and practices, including but not limited to personal protective gear.
→Ability to work safely in and around heavy machinery in loud, hazardous, and industrial settings.
→Manually clean, install, fit repair valves, caps, hoses, pumps, gaskets, and all other external and internal equipment.
→Assist in general maintenance of company equipment, service, grease, etc.
→Wash and clean company equipment – Pressure wash, clean cabs, etc.
→General housekeeping – sweeping floors, taking out trash, and helping keep work areas clean and organized.
→Help with future job load outs or unloads from previous jobs – Return equipment and PPE back to designated areas.

Qualifications:

→High School diploma or equivalent.
→No experience required behind an 18-wheeler. Fresh out of school is OK.
→Must possess a valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
→Auto Restrictions is OK.
→Must possess a valid Transportation Workers Identification card (TWIC) or be able to obtain one.
→Must possess a Medical Examiner’s Certificate or be able to obtain one.
→Must be capable of passing a personal background screen.
→Must be capable of passing an MVR background screen.
→Commercial Driver - Pneumatic/Vacuum Operator run under the FMCSA 70-hour rule.
→Must be able to travel for extended periods of time.
→Willing to respond to emergency calls 24 hours, 7 days a week as needed.
→Willing to perform all required job duties in accordance with training.
→Willing to perform all job duties in accordance with standard operating procedures.
→Willing to understand and follow all given directions.
