The primary function of the Spinning Technician is to perform scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on spinning equipment.

Responsibilities

→Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance and equipment repairs.
→Troubleshoot machinery issues and report problems to management.
→Maintain spinning equipment, including spindles, bearings, belts, and filter systems.
→Communicate effectively with machine operators and team members.
→Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and required PPE.
→Use computer systems to locate parts and maintain inventory needs.
→Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

Mechanical/technical experience preferred.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to work a 8-hour shift while standing and walking for extended periods.
Ability to bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work in a cotton dust environment with temperatures of approximately 85–87°F.
Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality.
