The Project Coordinator serves as the daily operational support for the Global Technology & Service Management (GTSM) team, keeping initiatives organized, on schedule, and clearly communicated. This role builds strong relationships within the team and with stakeholders, manages day-to-day logistics, facilitates cross-department collaboration, and helps projects move smoothly from planning to delivery. By keeping efforts aligned, removing roadblocks, and maintaining accurate information, the Project Coordinator enables the GTSM team to focus on the technology- and service-driven outcomes that advance NYU’s mission and long-term priorities. GTSM, part of Global Service Delivery, exists to make NYU’s technology landscape coherent and keep the services built on it healthy across New York, Abu Dhabi, and Shanghai. It combines two disciplines: technology management, which maintains the architecture and application inventory, sets standards that determine which technologies belong, and chairs the NYU IT Technology Review Board (TRB); and service management, which measures service health, maintains the service portfolio and catalog, runs work on ServiceNow as a shared system of work, and supports a community of Service Owners in an organized, transparent, and accountable way.
