Title: VP, Director of Retail Operations

Location: UTFCU Corporate Office

As VP, Director of Retail Operations, you will provide leadership and oversight for critical operational functions supporting our Retail division, including:

• →Deposit Operations
• →Electronic Payments
• →Card Services
• →Fraud & Disputes
• →Quality Control
• →Retail Operational Support Functions

In this role, you will:

• Develop and execute forward-looking operational strategies that support growth and member engagement.
• Lead process improvement, automation, and modernization efforts that enhance efficiency and service delivery.
• Strengthen organizational capabilities, workforce readiness, and succession planning.
• Ensure strong operational controls, compliance, risk management, and audit readiness.
• Utilize data and analytics to improve performance, service quality, and decision-making.
• Build high-performing teams and cultivate a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. 

We're seeking a proven leader who brings:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations Management, Accounting, or a related field
• Eight or more years of progressive leadership experience within a financial institution
• Demonstrated success leading operational teams, process improvement initiatives, and organizational change
• Strong understanding of operational risk, compliance, controls, and financial services operations
• Experience developing leaders and building scalable, high-performing teams

Preferred qualifications include:

• Credit union leadership experience
• Advanced degree
• Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) certification or other relevant industry certifications
