Maintenance Lead - Weekday Days

Utz Quality Foods is looking to grow our loyal, career-driven, and customer-focused team, and we are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Lead to join our team of manufacturing professionals in Hanover, PA on the Weekday Shift 

This hands-on leadership role is perfect for someone with strong mechanical expertise, a proactive problem-solving mindset, and a passion for mentoring and leading a team. As a Maintenance Lead, you’ll play a critical role in keeping our production equipment running smoothly, safely, and efficiently, while supporting a culture of compliance and continuous improvement. This role will be working Monday to Thursday 5:55AM-5:55PM.

• →Lead and supervise the maintenance team, ensuring work orders are prioritized and completed effectively.
• →

  Coordinate and oversee preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and improve reliability.

• →

  Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, and PLC-controlled systems, including baggers, motors, drives, fryers, and packaging machines.

• →

  Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies to support timely repairs.

• →

  Ensure compliance with GMP, OSHA, EPA, and Food Safety regulations while promoting a strong safety culture.

• →

  Accurately document repairs and preventive maintenance in the EAM system to meet audit requirements.

• →

  Promote and implement 5S principles to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• →

  Identify and execute process improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.

• →

  Provide hands-on support and training to maintenance technicians.

• →

  Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
