The Fresh Prepared Lead assists the Taquería Manager with managing Grab & Go operations. This role helps oversee food preparation, inventory, merchandising, and team support while ensuring compliance with food safety standards. The Fresh Prepared Lead ensures the Grab & Go areas are well-stocked, clean, and inviting, while delivering extraordinary customer service.

  Support the Taquería Manager in planning, organizing, and controlling Grab & Go activities to meet sales, labor, and quality goals.

  Prepare fresh Grab & Go food with consistent quality, appearance, and portion sizes.

• →

  Rotate and replenish items in refrigeration cases, ensuring compliance with Health Department regulations.

• →

  Place and manage 3rd party vendor orders and assist with supply orders.

• →

  Maintain accurate production records, audits, and compliance documentation.

  Provide extraordinary customer service by greeting customers, promoting products, and addressing concerns.

  Ensure Grab & Go areas are clean, organized, and visually appealing.

  Support, train, and motivate team members; report concerns to management as needed.

  Enforce food safety, sanitation, and dress code policies.

  Promote sales with suggestive selling techniques.

  Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Stand and walk for long periods (6–8 hours/day).

• Frequently bend, squat, twist, and reach above/below shoulders.

• Use hands frequently for grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation.

• Lift and carry up to 25 lbs. frequently and up to 40 lbs. occasionally.

• Work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to perishable foods.

• Friendly, customer-oriented personality with strong communication skills.

• 3–6 months of grocery or food retail experience required.

• Knowledge of food preparation, safety, and product presentation.

• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a collaborative environment.

• Basic computer skills (Word, Outlook).

• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.

• Willingness to transfer to other locations as needed.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

• Fast-paced supermarket Taquería and Grab & Go setting.

• Exposure to perishable food and changing conditions.
