As Business Unit Leader, you will lead the creation and scaling of our brand's business vertical. Reporting to senior leadership, you will own the end-to-end development of revenue verticals, working cross-functionally with engineering, business development, and executive stakeholders to build a scalable and profitable business from the ground up.

This role requires a highly analytical and entrepreneurial operator who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys building new ventures, and can combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You will be responsible for developing the marketplace infrastructure, establishing partnerships, optimizing unit economics, and driving long-term revenue growth.

Responsibilities
• Own the development, growth, and P&L of the business vertical.
• Partner with engineering to build and optimize the platform’s infrastructure and user experience.
• Analyze audience, performance, and market data to identify growth opportunities and maximize revenue.
• Define product requirements, operational workflows, and growth strategies to ensure successful execution.
• Develop business cases, financial models, and revenue forecasts to support strategic decisions.
• Build and manage relationships with mortgage lenders and financial partners.
• Expand the lender network and diversify revenue sources.
• Track marketplace performance and continuously improve lead quality, conversion rates, and profitability.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities.
• Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to execute growth initiatives.

Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, finance, engineering, data science, or a related analytical field.
• Proven experience building, launching, or scaling a new business, product, or revenue stream.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using data to drive decisions.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership and execution.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
