Product Expert – Veeva RIM Submissions, Archive, and Publishing

 

 

 

Veeva is looking for a highly motivated individual with real-world life science industry experience in Regulatory Operations or Regulatory Affairs to drive customer success with our Veeva Regulatory Information Management (RIM) products in Europe. If you are a person who has a blend of experience building regulatory submissions and understanding of the key technical product features behind these processes, then this could be the role for you!

 

Product Experts play a key role in the product organization, supporting software product managers specialising in Submissions, Submissions Archive and Publishing applications. You will advocate the voice of the customer by creating problem statements, using a blend of your industry knowledge, experience with European/ ROW regulations, and an understanding of real need behind the ask, to help shape the product roadmap for Submissions, Submissions Archive, and Publishing. Product Experts build strong relationships within the Veeva RIM community, lead educational campaigns, create content to showcase Veeva RIM, and represent the product organization in online communities, customer meetings and at industry events.

 

This role is ideal for someone passionate about RIM processes, eager to collaborate with customers from end users to executives, and excited to drive their success. You should have the skills and personal characteristics to work with autonomy, proactiveness and drive – demonstrating the ability to succeed where there is ambiguity in a fast-moving environment.

Be the product evangelist and provide subject matter expertise for the Veeva RIM products, especially focused on the Veeva Submissions, Submissions Archive and Publishing use cases and associated features.

Stay up to date with the latest features and roadmap direction and be able to communicate the future roadmap vision.

Provide education for Veeva RIM customers in our Customer Communities and a range of forums. Product experts are key in communicating the value of our products, the customer business problems we are solving and presenting product functionality.

Engage with customer stakeholders to communicate product roadmap and vision.

Contribute to best practices and process recommendations within the Veeva RIM product suite.

Be the customer advocate for future product innovations. Gather, analyze, and prioritize customer feedback into problem statements, identifying the needs of the customer, feeding these insights into roadmap strategy and release planning.

Collaborate with Product teams to deliver valuable content and resources for product and release communication.

Provide cross-functional support to internal teams, including Services, Strategy, Sales, and Product Support.

3+ years within the regulatory industry for life sciences in Regulatory Operations, Regulatory Affairs, or related areas. Note that typical candidates will often come from Submission Publishing, Submission Managers, Regulatory Affairs Consultants and Specialists.

3+ years of experience working in consulting, solution consulting, support, or business liaison roles.

Experience in using and/or implementing RIM applications and processes including substantial experience working with document management, submission building, publishing, and archiving electronic submissions.

Ability to understand customer business requirements and to translate them to problem statements that clearly identify the needs of the customer – communicated to both business and technical stakeholders.

Ability to understand technical specifications and software development documentation and translate them to end users and business teams.

Experience in interacting with customers from business users, IT departments, and executive suite, as well as internal teams, both in-person and remote.

Strong analytical skills and English skills (written, verbal, and formal presentations).

Self-directed team player with a positive attitude.

Willingness to travel up to 15%, including travel to the USA.

Based in Europe (with ability to work across time zones).

Veeva Product experience

Fluency in another European language

Experience performing software demonstrations and creating engaging videos
