As Senior Director, Product Management for EU, you will be Veeva Nitro's senior product presence in Europe. Nitro is our AI-native data platform that democratizes life sciences data for non-technical commercial teams, turning fragmented HCP/HCO, prescription, and industry data into decisions the field can act on.

Europe is a critical and complex market for Nitro, with multi-country field operations, strict data privacy requirements, and sophisticated customers who expect a platform that understands their world. You will deeply understand EU customers, advocate for their needs in the global product roadmap, and partner with engineering to deliver on those needs. You'll work across product, engineering, sales, services, legal, and compliance to ensure Nitro is built for Europe and wins in Europe.

You are an AI-native product leader who thinks about what the platform should decide and recommend, not just what it should store or display. You measure success with outcomes — product adoption, customer satisfaction, deal velocity, renewals, expansions. You are equally credible in a customer boardroom in Paris and in a roadmap review with engineering. You are energized by working at startup speed inside a global enterprise.

EU Customer Discovery & Advocacy: Own the EU customer relationship pipeline, from discovery interviews to exec briefings to conference presence. You are the primary feedback loop between European pharma and the global roadmap

EU Product Delivery: Set priorities for the dedicated EU engineering workstream and own the outcomes of those features

Regulatory & Data Compliance: Own the product's compliance posture in Europe. Partner with legal and security to ensure Nitro meets GDPR, data residency, and EMA requirements, and turn compliance into a competitive strength

Go-to-Market Partnership: Get in the room early on EU deals. Partner with sales and services to position Nitro, handle product objections, and accelerate time-to-value for new customers

Market Intelligence: Know the EU competitive landscape, regulatory pipeline, and local data ecosystem, and use it to influence product strategy

AI-Native Product Leadership: Push the product toward innovative capabilities and ways of working, rather than automating existing processes. Be the voice in EU customer rooms that articulates what AI-native analytics actually means for commercial teams

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Connect the dots across engineering, legal, security, compliance, services, and consulting so EU commitments land

Executive Alignment: Represent the EU market and customer perspective to Veeva and Nitro leadership. Bring a clear point of view on where to invest, what's working, and what needs to change

Leadership: 8+ years in product management with demonstrated success on enterprise SaaS or data platforms

Domain Expertise: Deep life sciences commercial, medical, and regulatory expertise including HCP/HCO data, Rx/prescription data, claims, and field force operations, ideally across multiple EU markets

EU Market Expertise: Strong understanding of the European life sciences market, multi-country dynamics, and EU regulatory and data-privacy requirements including GDPR, data residency, and EMA

AI/Data Fluency: Hands-on product experience with AI/ML, analytics, or data platforms with the ability to shape and advocate for AI-driven capabilities and hold a credible product conversation with customers and engineering alike

Customer Obsession: Builds relationships that go beyond the sale, with deep knowledge of customer workflows, frustrations, and definitions of success

Data-Driven: Sets clear success metrics and uses data to prioritize, advocate, and report on outcomes

Customer-Facing Credibility: Proven ability to lead executive customer conversations and translate them into product direction

Execution: Comfortable influencing across teams in a globally distributed, remote-first environment

Education: Bachelor's degree or higher; equivalent experience considered

Experience with Veeva Vault, Veeva CRM, or the broader life sciences technology ecosystem

Experience building or scaling an AI-native product from an early stage

Working proficiency in one or more European languages beyond English

Total compensation: 95,000 - 275,000 EUR

The total compensation range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential total compensation range for this role. Please note that actual total compensation may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position's total compensation may be composed of other types of compensation, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
