Content Marketing Specialist

Are you energized by turning a blank page into content people actually search for, read and act on? Does finding the keyword nobody else is targeting get you up in the morning? We are looking for a Content Marketing Specialist who writes with an AI edge to help Vendasta reach the small businesses and agencies that need us.

Good content is how the right customers find Vendasta. In this role you'll research what our audience is searching for, plan content around it, and write blog posts, website copy, social posts and case studies that rank and convert. You'll use AI tools to research, draft, edit and repurpose faster, then shape every piece so it sounds like us. And you'll check the numbers to see what worked, so the next piece does even better.

As a Content Marketing Specialist you'll work with the content leads and the wider Demand Generation team to:

• Research industry trends, customer pain points and competitors to find timely content ideas.
• Write engaging copy for blog posts, website pages, social media and case studies in Vendasta's voice.
• Use AI tools to research, outline and draft content, then edit the drafts until they meet our brand tone and quality bar.
• Run keyword research and build SEO best practices into every piece, working from the team's content calendar.
• Use AI-powered SEO tools to spot content gaps, trending searches and optimization opportunities.
• Track how content performs (traffic, engagement, conversions), refresh what's underperforming and recommend what to create next.

You write clear, engaging copy across formats, from blog posts and website pages to social posts and case studies, and you can explain a complex topic simply. You understand SEO principles and keyword research, and you know how to read performance metrics such as organic traffic, click-through rate and conversion rate, then act on them. You already use AI writing and SEO tools such as ChatGPT, Jasper, Clearscope or Surfer SEO, you can follow a structured prompt workflow to get a strong first draft, and you're happy to test new tools and tell the team what works.
