Candidates must have reliable transportation to commute to and from the warehouse. A company van is provided during shifts to perform job duties.

Please Note:
This is a W2 seasonal, part-time position and is not eligible for benefits. Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance of Woodbridge, CT and be able to reliably report to the warehouse for the 6:00 AM start time.

$18.00/hour

Veo is seeking an E-Scooter Delivery Driver to support local fleet operations in the Woodbridge area. This position is responsible for locating, retrieving, rebalancing, and maintaining Veo's fleet of shared electric scooters.

During your shift, you'll drive a company-provided van throughout the service area, swap batteries, relocate scooters to high-demand areas, perform quality checks, and help ensure riders have access to safe and reliable vehicles.

The ideal candidate is dependable, comfortable working independently, enjoys staying active, and is willing to work outdoors throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

  • Follow mobile app instructions to complete assigned shift tasks
  • Drive a company-provided van to locate and service scooters
  • Swap scooter batteries as needed
  • Rebalance scooters from low-demand to high-demand areas
  • Retrieve and relocate scooters throughout the service area
  • Perform basic repairs and vehicle quality checks
  • Respond to on-demand requests to locate and retrieve scooters
  • Load and unload scooters from the company van
  • Maintain safe and organized fleet operations
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Comfortable driving a company van
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from the Woodbridge warehouse
  • Smartphone proficiency and ability to use mobile applications
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs without assistance
  • Comfortable working outdoors and staying physically active throughout the shift
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Must be available Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 6:00 AM–10:00 AM

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with Woodbridge, New Haven, and surrounding communities
  • Previous delivery or driving experience
  • Experience in warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, fleet operations, or similar environments
  • Experience working in a physically active position
