The Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) serves as Veracyte's primary scientific field representative across the Nordic countries, building trusted scientific partnerships with healthcare professionals and supporting the appropriate adoption of Veracyte's precision oncology portfolio, including Prosigna®.
The successful candidate will possess strong scientific expertise in breast cancer, molecular diagnostics and precision oncology, and will play a key role in scientific exchange, medical education, evidence generation and the collection of medical insights to support regional Medical Affairs objectives.
This position supports the Nordics, with a strong preference for candidates based in Norway or Denmark.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Build and maintain trusted scientific relationships with breast cancer Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) across the Nordic region.
- Deliver balanced, evidence-based scientific exchange with healthcare professionals.
- Respond to unsolicited scientific requests in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.
- Present clinical evidence during scientific meetings, educational events and hospital presentations.
- Identify, develop and maintain relationships with current and emerging breast cancer experts.
- Support scientific Advisory Boards, educational meetings and faculty development initiatives.
- Facilitate scientific collaborations that support Veracyte's Medical Affairs objectives.
- Represent Veracyte at national and international oncology congresses.
- Collect, analyze and communicate actionable medical insights from healthcare professionals.
- Identify unmet medical needs and emerging scientific trends.
- Share field insights with Medical Affairs and cross-functional partners to support medical strategy.
- Identify opportunities for Investigator-Initiated Studies (IIS) and collaborative research.
- Support Clinical Operations in study site identification and scientific engagement.
- Assist investigators in understanding diagnostic reports and assay performance.
- Support evidence generation activities when appropriate.
- Collaborate effectively with Commercial, Marketing, Market Access, Clinical Operations and Medical Affairs colleagues.
- Deliver scientific training to internal teams.
- Support congress planning and scientific education initiatives.
- Advanced scientific degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, MSc, NP or equivalent).
- Minimum of 5 years of Medical Affairs experience within oncology, molecular diagnostics, biotechnology or pharmaceuticals.
- Previous experience as a Medical Science Liaison is required.
- Strong scientific knowledge of breast cancer, precision oncology and genomic diagnostics.
- Experience supporting molecular diagnostics or genomic assays is highly desirable.
- Established relationships with breast cancer Key Opinion Leaders across the Nordic countries are highly preferred.
- Existing collaborations with Academic Institutions, Cooperative Groups and Scientific Societies would be considered a strong advantage.
- Strong understanding of breast cancer clinical pathways and biomarker-driven treatment decisions.

Pay range is 876,000 - 935,000(NOK)
