Engineering Manager, Core Platform

• →Lead projects impacting our Command product- it will include both frontend and backend engineers in your team
• →Be able to roll up your sleeves and actively write code or prototype new features
• →Inspire your team to create highly polished and delightful user experiences
• →Work closely with Product and Design to build and ship features and delight users and customers
• →Collaborate with other engineering leaders to define, communicate, and execute on goals, priorities and process
• →Drive the adoption of best practices, coding standards, and development methodologies to ensure the delivery of high-quality, maintainable code.
• →Stay current with emerging technologies, trends, and industry developments, evaluating their potential impact on our web platforms and recommending innovative solutions.
• →Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the web engineering team, encouraging knowledge sharing, skill-building, and career growth opportunities.

• 4+ years experience managing, leading, and inspiring a team of engineers; including hiring, retaining, and managing performance.
• 8+ years of work experience in a software engineering roles
• Experience with both backend and frontend
• Experience working in an agile team software development environment
• Eye for design, product details, and polish
• Working knowledge of at least one server-side framework and one database system 
• Degree in Computer Science or related Engineering field
