Associate Engineer Reliability

• →Utilize the material compliance processes within Vertiv product development (VPD) to ensure that products are compliant and product introduction schedules are met.
• →Assist in driving improvement in the process of gathering and managing material compliance data between Vertiv’s product development system and its 3rd party compliance outreach provider.
• →Develop and maintain subject matter expertise on material compliance regulations and best practices.
• →Assist in improving the Product Material Compliance Team’s processes and protocols to improve efficiency and quality.
• →Manage data entry into the environmental compliance database on a daily basis.

• Bachelor’s Degree in chemical engineering, materials engineering, or related discipline required.
• Chemical, Environmental Engineering, Materials Science or Chemistry B.S.
• Minimum 1-2 years relevant experience.
• MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Bill of Material management systems (ex. Oracle PD, Agile, TeamCenter)
• Must have experience working with electronics hardware, components, assemblies.
• Must have experience with product compliance databases.  Previous experience with PLM and Assent Manager is a plus.
• Preferred minimum 1-2 years of experience with product material compliance programs such as REACH, RoHS, CA Prop 65 or similar.
• Demonstrated experience with project/program management
